📋 Short Version
Most tools are free with no account needed. The Portfolio Builder and Wish Generator require accounts to save your work. Wish Generator photos and audio are automatically deleted after 7 or 14 days (you choose). No warranties — use at your own risk.
These Terms of Service govern your use of ToolLabHQ (toollabhq.com) and all tools provided on the platform. By using our site, you agree to these terms in full.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using ToolLabHQ (toollabhq.com), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please stop using the site immediately. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time, and continued use after updates constitutes acceptance.
2. Use of Tools
All tools on ToolLabHQ are provided free of charge for both personal and commercial use. You may use the output generated by our tools — including resized images, generated passwords, QR codes, split CSV files, merged PDFs, and calculated results — for any lawful purpose without attribution.
3. Account Requirements (Portfolio Builder & Wish Generator)
Most tools on ToolLabHQ do not require any account or registration. However, the Portfolio Builder and Wish Generator require you to create an account to save your work. When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and a hashed password. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from your dashboard or by contacting us.
4. Wish Generator Auto-Deletion Policy
When you create a wish card using the Wish Generator, you choose an expiry period of 7 days or 14 days. After your selected period expires: (1) the shareable link stops working, (2) all uploaded photos are permanently deleted from our servers, (3) all uploaded audio files are permanently deleted, and (4) all wish card data is removed from our database. This auto-deletion is automatic and cannot be reversed. We do this to protect your privacy — personal photos and messages should not stay on servers forever.
5. Portfolio Builder Data Storage
When you use the Portfolio Builder, your portfolio data (bio, skills, experience, education, projects, profile photo) is stored on our servers so your portfolio remains accessible at its permanent URL. You can update or delete your portfolio at any time. When you delete your account, all portfolio data is permanently removed.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use ToolLabHQ to process illegal content, to attempt to harm or overload the platform, to reverse-engineer or copy our tools, or to use automated scripts or bots to make excessive requests. Misuse of the platform may result in your IP address or account being blocked from accessing the site.
7. No Warranties
ToolLabHQ tools are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that tools will be error-free, uninterrupted, always available, or meet your specific requirements. Use the tools at your own discretion and always verify important results independently.
8. Limitation of Liability
ToolLabHQ and its owner shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the site or its tools. This includes but is not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or business interruption. Always keep backups of important files before processing them.
9. Intellectual Property
The ToolLabHQ name, logo, website design, and written content are the intellectual property of Abdul Wahab. The tools themselves are built using open web technologies including JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. Any output generated by our tools belongs entirely to you and may be used freely.
10. Third-Party Services
We use Google Analytics for anonymous usage tracking and Google AdSense for advertising. These third-party services operate under their own terms of service and privacy policies, which you should review independently. We are not responsible for the practices of these third-party services.
11. Account Deletion & Data Removal
You may delete your ToolLabHQ account at any time. Upon account deletion: (1) all portfolio data is permanently removed, (2) all wish cards are permanently removed, (3) your name and email are removed from our database. Wish cards that have already expired are automatically deleted regardless of account status. To request account deletion, contact us using the information in Section 12 below.
12. Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of Pakistan. Any disputes arising from the use of ToolLabHQ shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan.
