ToolLabHQ is an independent website that publishes free browser-based utilities. We build these tools carefully and test them, but software has limits and so does any calculation made without knowing your full circumstances. This page explains exactly what you can and cannot rely on.

Nothing on this website constitutes financial, tax, legal, accounting, academic, medical, or career advice, and no professional relationship is created by your use of it. We are not accountants, attorneys, or licensed advisers.
2. Financial & Tax Tools
The US Business Tax Calculator and Turnover Calculator produce simplified estimates using general rates and assumptions.
- They do not account for deductions, credits, state and local variations, filing status nuances, or changes in law.
- Tax rules change frequently and may be out of date at the time you use the tool.
- They must never be used as the basis for a filing, a return, or a business decision.
Always consult a licensed CPA or tax professional, and refer to the IRS or your national tax authority for authoritative figures.
3. Academic Tools
The CGPA Calculator uses common grading formulas, but every institution defines its own grade points, credit weighting, rounding rules, and relative-grading policy. Your official transcript is the only authoritative record of your result. Confirm any figure with your registrar or examinations office before relying on it for admissions or employment.
The Plagiarism Checker performs a limited similarity comparison. It does not search the entire internet or any licensed academic database, and it is not equivalent to institutional systems such as Turnitin. A clean result here is not proof of originality, and it will not protect you from an academic misconduct finding.
4. Career Tools
The ATS Resume Checker applies general keyword and formatting heuristics. Real applicant tracking systems — Workday, Greenhouse, Taleo and others — each parse differently and are not public. A high score here does not guarantee an interview, and a low score does not mean your resume is bad. Treat the output as one opinion, not a verdict.
5. Accuracy & Availability
We work to keep everything accurate and online, but we make no warranty — express or implied — that any tool is error-free, complete, current, or continuously available. Tools may be changed, suspended, or removed at any time without notice.
