👨💻 The Real Story Behind This Tool
I built this PDF merger because my own e-commerce site rangmehal.shop kept creating problems that only merging PDFs could solve. Shipping labels came separately. Sales invoices needed combining. I needed one tool to fix both.
Two Problems From My Own E-commerce Site
1. The Shipping Label Problem
rangmehal.shop sells electrical products. When customers place orders, we need to print shipping labels. But here's the thing — when someone orders multiple items, or when there are multiple orders to process, the shipping labels download as separate PDF files.
One order = one label PDF. Ten orders = ten separate PDFs.
Printing them one by one is a nightmare. Open file, print, close, next file, repeat. When you have 20, 30, 50 orders to process in a day, this takes forever. Paper gets wasted. Labels get mixed up. It's frustrating.
What I needed: A way to merge all shipping labels into one PDF. Then print once. All labels in order, ready to go.
I searched online. Found PDF mergers, but most wanted me to upload files to their servers. For shipping labels with customer names, addresses, phone numbers — I didn't want that data sitting on someone else's server. Privacy matters.
What happened next: I built this merger. Now every morning, I take all shipping label PDFs, drag them into this tool, arrange them in order, and merge. One PDF. One print job. All labels ready. Processing time dropped from 30 minutes to 5 minutes.
2. The Daily Sales Reports Problem
rangmehal.shop has an admin panel. Every day, I download sales reports to track what sold, what didn't, and to keep records. The panel lets me download:
- Today's sales invoice
- Yesterday's sales invoice
- This week's summary
- Pending orders list
All separate PDFs.
When I need to review everything together — compare today vs yesterday, see pending orders alongside sales — I end up opening multiple PDFs, switching back and forth. It's inefficient. Sometimes I'd miss something because I forgot to open one file.
The solution: Merge them all into one master report. Today's sales + yesterday's sales + pending orders = one PDF. Open once, see everything. Compare side by side. No switching tabs. No missing data.
Now every evening, I merge the day's reports into one file. Clean. Organized. Easy to review.
Real Results From My Own Use
📊 Before and After
- Shipping labels: 30 minutes of printing → 5 minutes. 10+ separate print jobs → 1 print job.
- Sales reports: 5+ PDFs to open → 1 merged file. No more switching between documents.
- Customer privacy: Shipping labels never uploaded to any server — stays on my computer.
- Paper saved: Less wasted labels from printing errors and confusion.
Who Actually Needs This Tool
From my own experience running rangmehal.shop, these are the people who benefit most:
- E-commerce sellers — merging shipping labels, packing slips, invoices for multiple orders
- Small business owners — combining daily sales reports, inventory lists, pending orders
- Online store managers — processing bulk orders with multiple shipping documents
- Anyone printing labels — shipping labels, product labels, barcode sheets
- Freelancers — merging client invoices, contracts, proposals into one package
- Students — combining project reports, assignments, scanned documents
- Office workers — merging multiple scanned documents into one file
Why I Built It Differently
Most PDF mergers online work like this:
- You upload your PDFs to their server
- Their server processes the merge
- You download the result
That means your shipping labels (with customer addresses) and sales reports (with your business data) are sitting on someone else's server. For an e-commerce business, that's not acceptable.
This tool works differently:
- Your PDFs stay in your browser (using JavaScript FileReader API)
- Merging happens locally using PDF-lib library
- You download directly — no server ever sees your files
100% private. 100% free. Perfect for e-commerce businesses handling customer data.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is this really free?
Yes. Free forever. No signup, no watermark, no hidden paid features. I built this for my own e-commerce site and decided to share it.
Are my PDFs uploaded to your server?
No. Everything runs in your browser using JavaScript. Your files never leave your device. This is especially important for shipping labels with customer addresses and sales data.
Is there a file size limit?
No server limit since files stay on your device. Very large files (500MB+) depend on your computer's available memory. For typical shipping labels and invoices, it works perfectly.
How many PDFs can I merge at once?
No limit. Merge 2, 10, 50, or more files in one go. I've tested with 30+ shipping labels without issues.
Can I reorder files before merging?
Yes. Drag any file up or down, or use the arrow buttons to move them. The final PDF will be in the exact order you set.
Does the merged PDF have a watermark?
No. We never add any watermark or branding to your merged PDF. It's clean and professional.
Can I use this for business purposes?
Absolutely. This tool was built for my own e-commerce business. It's perfect for commercial use.
What about password-protected PDFs?
The tool can attempt to merge PDFs if the security only restricts editing. PDFs requiring a password to open cannot be merged.
